WELCOME TO
Worrall St, Salford
For the Worrall St project we worked really closely with the client to develop the brand and interiors package together for the target market. We pitched for the scheme to utilise second-hand furniture as much as possible, we worked very closely with the main contractor to deliver all the communal spaces in line with the construction programme. As well as the atrium entrance hall, co-working space and roof terrace we also did full decoration and internal fit out of 6 homes.

Strong starts
LFD worked in collaboration with Origin Creative to develop the brand for Worrall St at the same time as developing the interiors this created a clearly cohesive scheme working with the client and their target market.

The Co-working Space
The Co-working Space was designed to create a warm welcoming space for residents to use for a range of events and meetings with a range of seating types and a kitchen space. Full width warm wall mirrors, well considered bespoke lighting solutions and bespoke upcycled furniture have created a mature but relaxed space that is well used by residents. All furniture was bespoke for the space utilising secondhand where possible and working closely with the client and contractor to ensure it met all fire safety and installation considerations.
Sourcing and behind the scenes
Testimonial - Plumlife Homes
'Working with Lynsey Ford Design on the design and installation of our communal areas and show apartments at a new apartment building was a great experience. Lynsey designed, sourced/created furniture for and dressed six show apartments which were in the middle of a building site for our off plan launch, meaning customers were transported from a construction site into some beautifully presented, inspiring spaces which allowed them to see the potential and made all of the difference to our sales.
The upcycled aspect was a brilliant selling point to our customers, as these apartments were available using an affordable homes scheme, it can be daunting for our customers to also think about saving to buy brand new furniture and sort things like fitted wardrobes on top of the costs associated with buying a property. So many of our customers have been inspired by Lynsey’s approach to upcycling and realised they don’t have to buy everything brand new.
Lynsey also created our stunning lobby, co working spaces and roof terrace, which as well as being potential customers first impressions on viewings, are also used by our residents every day and are well thought out and practical as well as being beautiful spaces to live in.'
